Research conducted by the PGA EuroPro Tour among its up and coming professional golfers shows that Motocaddy is the preferred brand of choice for those using a powered trolley.

The survey amongst players on Europe’s third-tier Tour revealed more than 65% of the field regularly use a trolley in competitive rounds, with over half of those Pros opting to play with the market-leading powered trolley brand – almost twice as many as the nearest competitor.

Research plays a key role for us in developing new models and it’s great to see so many players using Motocaddy trolleys on the EuroPro Tour and providing us with vital feedback on performance at a high level,” said Marketing Manager Oliver Churcher.

The survey also revealed that players chose to use a powered trolley for three main reasons: to avoid carrying on the course (41%), keep equipment dry (21%) and generally feel more energised during and after the round (19%).

The news comes ahead of the title-sponsored ‘Motocaddy Masters,’ taking place at The Carrick from the 12-14th July and highlights the long-standing relationship with the EuroPro Tour, now into its 11th year as the Official Electric Trolley. Players are competing for more than £800,000 worth of prize money this year, with the top five golfers on the Order of Merit awarded a 2017 Challenge Tour card.
